Karen Slump

Karen Slump was born in Pretoria, South Africa. There she attended the University of Pretoria to obtain her Fine Arts degree with painting as her major subject. She participated in several group exhibitions in Pretoria. Here on Saba she had a solo exhibition at the renowned Peanut Gallery.
On Saba she picked up her knitting and crochet hobby again which gives her endless hours of tranquillity. She learned how to knit, sew, crochet and other needle point skills from her mother whom she considers to have been an absolute master in her field and whose hands very never empty of a project.
