SCID is a Federally-recognized 501(c)3 charitable foundation which exists for one reason: to stop the spread of insect-borne diseases in the Caribbean. This can be done with funding existing technology, helping develop new strategies, and improving public awareness and diagnosis at the local level.  We partner with Federal and local governments in the Caribbean with the goal of eradicating disease-causing mosquitoes that harm locals and tourists alike.
