Anna Keene

Anna Keene moved back to Saba 8 years ago after a 25 year hiatus to work specifically with indigo. Indigo is a cultural heritage product of the island.

She grows, harvests, processes, and dyes with the indigo grown on her property propagated from wild indigo that comes from plants escaped from a small plantation worked in the way back days. Anna teaches workshops in Shibori/indigo dyeing and ecodyeing in The Studio located on the grounds of Juliana's Hotel in Windwardside.
