JoAnn Catsos

JoAnn Kelly Catsos is an award-winning basketmaker from upstate NY. In 2016 JoAnn and husband Steve came to Saba to help recreate the Saba basket, previously made on the island by Clifton Ambrose Hassell.

Now JoAnn is back to Saba to teach another one of her passions - stained glass. She has designed and created colorful stained glass windows, flat panel lamps, and more whimsical suncatchers than she's able to count.

"Making a stained glass piece reminds me of putting together a quilt - selecting the colors that speak to me. Then when the sun shines through the finished stained glass .......it's magical!"
