Nina Weiss

 

Internationally recognized artist Nina Weiss has been painting and drawing the landscape for over thirty years.  Her work is represented in private and corporate collections including United Airlines, Aetna Insurance, McDonalds, Eli Lilly, and Avon.  Her work can be seen in two Hollywood films; “Chicago Fire” TV series; & is licensed in prints and posters.  She exhibits widely and is represented by galleries throughout the U.S. 

 

Her instructional videos can be seen at Craftsy.com & the Prismacolor website. Publications include the books “100 Artists of the Midwest”; “Artists Homes & Studios” & “The Chicago Art Scene”.  Nina travels frequently to document the landscape at home and abroad; completing her large-scale landscape paintings in her Highland Park studio.  She teaches throughout the year; and travels with students to Europe every summer for her Landscape Workshops.
